Michael J. Jarabek
Mike was a Police Officer for over 32 years after retiring in 2021. He was with Saginaw City Police Department from 1989 until retiring in 2009. During his time at Saginaw City Police, some of his duties included 5 years as a homicide detective, 18 years serving on the SWAT team, and 13 years as a Sergeant. He also was a background investigator, a Field Training Officer as well a supervisor for the K-9 unit and Reserve Unit.
In 1991 he also was an instructor at Delta College Police Academy. In 2009 once retired from Saginaw City he was hired as a full-time Sergeant for the Delta College Department of Public Safety where he remained until retiring from Delta College in 2021.
Kodiak Tactical LLC
Kodiak Tactical LLC is a firearms training company started in 2019. Lead instructor Michael Jarabek began this company after working with Matt Shapley and Tactical Range Solutions LLC since 2014. In 2018 Matt Shapley relocated to Texas, which caused Kodiak Tactical LLC to develop. We specialize in teaching beginner shooters and basic CPL training, but also can provide advanced training for those who wish to develop their firearm skills. For our CPL training, we offer an 8 hour / one-day CPL class using the NRA (National Rifle Association) format. We are located at 2305 S. Thomas Rd. Saginaw Mi. 48609. Our home range is currently located at the Wolverine Sportsmen’s Club located at 14690 Ithaca Rd. St. Charles, Mi. 48655. We have the ability to travel and even provide a range of services provided the environment is properly-suited with the proper safety measures.
